FES in 2025: growth, expertise and strategic projects

2025 marked another year of challenges, consolidation and development for FES Global Group, a leading company specialising in corrosion protection, passive fire protection (REI systems), laser cleaning technology, industrial blasting and structural rehabilitation.

A year of continued growth

In 2025, FES recorded significant further growth, consolidating and enhancing its three-year business plan, built on experience, a solid organisational structure and the ability to adapt to highly complex operational environments.

The projects delivered required advanced technical skills, detailed planning and efficient resource management. Continued investments in new technologies, certifications and corporate structure allowed the company to reach even higher performance standards.

The FES team, made up of highly qualified professionals, operated with precision, safety and consistency, even in particularly challenging working conditions. Teamwork, coordination and strict quality control ensured operational continuity and full compliance with the highest industry standards.

Six representative projects delivered in 2025

To showcase the year’s achievements, FES selected six representative projects highlighting the diversity, scale and technical complexity of its interventions, ranging from industrial corrosion protection to major infrastructure maintenance.

1. Railway bridge over the Po River – Pavia, Italy

Industrial blasting and anticorrosive coating works on the steel deck of the railway bridge crossing the Po River in Bastida Pancarana. The project involved the application of high-build protective coating systems, including epoxy primers and polyurethane topcoats, ensuring long-term steel protection in a highly corrosive environment. Works were carried out under complex operational conditions, including special access to the active railway line.

2. Palazzo dei Cristalli – Milan, Italy

Comprehensive treatment of the building’s steel structures, combining accurate surface preparation, epoxy priming and durable acrylic polyurethane finishing coats. The intervention covered both existing and newly installed steelwork, enhancing structural durability, corrosion resistance and architectural aesthetics.

3. Underwater blasting and coating – Port of Genoa, Italy

Specialist underwater blasting and anticorrosive coating of carbon steel piles in a marine port environment. The intervention was carried out by certified commercial divers, enabling the restoration and protection of submerged steel surfaces using non-toxic materials and specialised manual protective coating systems suitable for underwater applications.

4. Structural rehabilitation of motorway viaduct piers – Bolzano, Italy

Structural repair and protection of viaduct piers along the A22 motorway, including scaling removal, surface blasting, reinforcement passivation and localised structural reconstruction. The concrete surfaces were protected with elastic waterproof coatings and dedicated protective systems, ensuring long-term durability and structural safety.

5. FIGC, Italian Football Federation Training Centre – Florence, Italy

Design and installation of permanent steel structures and systems for the sports facilities at the Coverciano Federal Technical Centre, including advertising panel supports and flag-raising systems. The project included low-impact foundations and steel structures engineered for long-term installations, fully meeting the functional and operational requirements of a national-level sports facility.

6. Luigi Corda Molle Bridge – Brescia, Italy

Restoration and anticorrosive protection of the steel structures of the Corda Molle Bridge in Brescia, using a system designed to ensure long-term protection, colour stability, aesthetic continuity and reduced maintenance requirements.

This project holds a special emotional significance. It is dedicated to Luigi, father of FES Global Group founder Massimo. Building on his father’s legacy, Massimo founded FES from the ground up, drawing on experience gained precisely on this bridge. Fifteen years ago, he personally carried out the blasting and coating works on the same steel deck. Restoring the bridge again after 15 years meant not only extending its service life, but also honouring a deep personal and professional bond that continues to shape the company’s values.

Team value and future vision

In 2025, FES once again confirmed that people are the company’s greatest asset. Expertise, commitment and collaboration remain the foundations of the company’s reliability and performance. New strategic partnerships, including the collaboration with Aprilia Racing in MotoGP, further demonstrate the trust placed in the FES team and the value of shared growth and innovation.

Looking ahead, FES Global Group is ready to seize the opportunities and collaborations that 2026 will bring. The company will continue to invest in team skills, advanced technologies, innovation and the ongoing development of its operational capabilities.

Thank you to all the professionals who made 2025 an exceptional year. We move into 2026 with confidence, ambition and new projects on the horizon.
